Throughout my career I have designed and developed premium items from their infancy to their game day activation. My goal is to have each item tell a story, a story that doesn't end when the game is over. I also wanted to give away an item that no one had ever given away before. Not only would the item appeal to the fans but it would also fulfill a sponsorship goal (brand awareness, increase sales, etc.). These are some of my industry-first giveaways from some of the professional sports teams that I have had the pleasure of working with.

Old Bay was looking to activate their Orioles sponsorship and celebrate their 70th anniversary. Introducing the first ever Crab Mallet giveaway courtesy of Old Bay.

Playing off of the success of the "Snuggie"... I came up with the idea to do a baseball version called the "Sluggie"

The grocery store Shop 'n Save wanted to activate their Cardinals sponsorship in conjunction with Powerade. Shop 'n Save's focus was on active kids and the parents who make their purchasing decisions. While kids may simply see this as a bat and ball giveaway, their parents are likely to know what a Wiffle ball/bat is. This giveaway connects with both. It was the first-ever custom Wiffle Bat & Ball giveaway.

Why give away a radio that can tune to stations other than the Dodgers station 790 KABC? I didn't. It's the first-ever radio that is permanently tuned to one-station… the Dodgers station 790 KABC.

Dierbergs supermarket chain wanted to activate their Cardinals sponsorship and have it include their #1 demographic, women. Activation included a pre-game yoga session and the first-ever yoga mat giveaway.

It's hot in the desert and there is a lot of sand. Thus I created an Arizona Diamondback logo sandcastle mold so that Diamondback logos could be found around town. It proved to be a successful giveaway great way to increase brand awareness.

In 1976 Lou Brock could be seen wearing an umbrella hat before numerous games. Fast-forward to 2010 and you have the first-ever Brockabrella giveaway. Looking good Lou!!!

In 2009 many MLB players were wearing vented batting helmets. As fan interest increased, so did the opportunity to do a giveaway. Introducing the first-ever vented batting helmet giveaway.

What better way to connect with kids than to keep them safe from the dark?

Everyone was going "green" in 2010 and Pure Power, a renewable power company, wanted to activate their Cardinals sponsorship with a "green" giveaway. In the past Pure Power had trouble finding anything that properly aligned with their company. I created a perfect match: a wind-powered giveaway for a wind-powered company.

The LA Dodgers were having a Jewish Heritage night and wanted to do a corresponding giveaway. Mazel tof!

I created the first-ever posable MLB action figure for the LA Dodgers. The Dodgers did three separate kid's giveaways and advertised with comic book style cartoons.

Playing off of the “What-A-Game” marketing campaign, I created a “What-A-Year” 5 foot by 3 foot Championship banner, the first of it's kind and something that could been seen flying on people's porches and flagpoles throughout the city.

Baseball is still going strong when the summer is ending. I created a back-to-school kit so that kids could bring their hometown team with them to school and back.
